Dr. Ahmadi is very professional, great inputs. I had her as my doctor following my laski procedure (executed by Dr. Tooma at NVision in Newport Beach), and I am very saisfied with the level of her experience. Her office can get very busy in the afternnon, as it is a very popular location inside the Costco in San Juan Capistrano. Her staff is very professional and courteous.

Dr. Ahamadi gets 10 stars if I could give them! This was my second visit to her and she was just as attentive and personable as the first time...but this time I came in with an emergency. I had experienced over the weekend what you call PVD which in a small number of cases can lead to a retinal tear. This happens when your vitreous, which is firmly attached to the surface of the retina, tugs quite strongly on the retina as it pulls away. She told me she was glad I listened to my neighbor and just came in without an appointment. She asked me lots of questions so that I could describe what I had seen when it first happened and what I was seeing now. She dilated my eyes and fit me in between other patient appointments. She was very concerned and examined my eye thoroughly to make sure my retina was not torn or beginning to detach. When she could see no problems she still was concern and wanted me to keep in touch and let her know if I continued to see flashers and floaters. She gave me instructions on limiting my activities to prevent any further damage to my eye. I emailed her the next day and she responded the same day. We weren't sure if I should go see a retinal specialist she had recommended if things worsen. When you see flashing light it is a sign your retina is unstable. Either torn or possibly detaching. When you first experience PVD you might see a ring or hoola hoop in your eye that is filled with light and prisms. This signifies initially a little stress or trauma your retina is experiencing while the vitreous is detaching from your eye...which is quite normal. But if you continue to see flashing lights and lots of floaters, your retina might be detaching or torn and will need immediate attention and repair. Dr. Ahamadi was very concerned and attentive and I was grateful that she cared so much. We emailed back and forth for several days and then my eye began to get better and although I still see floaters, the flashing lights are gone. So I am assuming my retina is fine. Thank you Dr. Ahamadi!

Always a wonderful experience seeing Dr. L. Ahmadi. She cares about her patience and is easy to speak with and explains everything going on with my eyes. I have been seeing her for several years. I highly recommend her!

Dr Ahmadi was caring ,knowledgable,professional and my best experience ever at an optometrists office. I confess that I've only been to the malls and big box stores in the past and decided to treat myself to a real doctor. Oh my was it worth it!

And to top it off my visit was so inexpensive that I wanted to pay more. So to treat myself I got some fancy rimless glasses and sunglasses ! My eyes have never been happier!

Review is for Dr Ahmadi's entire practice, I got Dr Julie when I went today. Her assistant Mandy was efficient and did the preliminary tests quickly but professionally. I went in for my appointment and Dr Julie (can't remember her last name) was nice and to the point, I was in and out in about 20 minutes and still got a very thorough exam. It was a little weird that the office was in the middle of the electronics section of Costco, and "It's a Small World" was on a constant loop somewhere right outside the door, but I'd go here over Eye Exam or any of the other optometrist's I've been to in the last 10 years.

I just love her! she was excellent in all levels, she was meticulous and so experienced she makes me fell very well. So professional and yet so caring. You need to see her for your eyes health. The best of the West.

I have had Dr. Ahmadi as my optometrist for over 9 years now. Every year when I revisit her office she and her staff always exceed my expectations on their professionalism and competency. Additionally her prices both on eye exam and glasses are very fair.

Dr. Ahmadi is a wonderful optometrist and highly skilled in the care of my eyes. She takes special interest in special needs people like myself and gives excellent advice. She provides the necessary time to answer any question and concern I have. She has been my Optometrist for the past 7 years. Her honesty and skill in helping me evaluate various advanced treatment options when a referral to another doctor was needed was exceptional and appreciated.

All these positive reviews brought me to Dr. Ahmadi. The first call to the front office staff was very pleasant and accommodating. When I arrived for my eye exam, the doctor was extremely thorough, professional, and clearly an experienced expert in her field. I ordered some glasses and contact lenses. She send me off with some samples to determine what brand contact lenses felt most comfortable. I haven't had an eye exam in years. I am delighted with the new updated prescription. I cant remember when I could see this well. I have had prescriptions in the past that were a bit off from other optometrists. Dr. Ahmadi got it just right factoring in variables from cross eye dominance, astigmatism, etc... Excellent processional caring doctor. I won't go anywhere else. Great experience and stellar results.

I've been to Dr Ahmadi twice in the last few years and was pleased in every way. She's professional and takes her time. She explained clearly to me the different tests she'd given me as part of a routine eye exam, and what the different results meant. I've reached an age where I need to have a better understanding of bifocals and trifocals, and the options and styles available. She was a great help and was able to make it all clear.

The last time I saw her was in this office in Mission Viejo. Her office is modern and lovely. The complex she's in is wonderful with ample parking. When it's time to for my next eye exam, it will be with Dr Ahmadi.

I have been wearing glasses for 4 years and finally decided to change my doctor and see Dr. Ahmadi. So far I am say she is the best. Highly recommend everyone who need the check up go there and see the care with your own eyes.

Very professional staff and knowledgable Dr. I was fitted for two pair of glasses one that is transitional and another just for indoor distance. There was a problem with the lab in NJ being hit by a huge storm so my transitional glasses were delayed but my other glass frames were being discontinued and therefore were no charge. This would have been a great opportunity to take some extra cash for that last pair but this staff and Dr have too much integrity for that!! I love my glasses and it was hassle free. I would recommend this office and all the people who are employed there without reservation!!

The other reviews are spot on. Dr Ahmadi is great and I'll definitely be back. She is thorough, double checking as she works, and she does a very good job of explaining the situation.

Her demeanor is professional, friendly, and I believe she is looking out for the best interest of her patients. I've had other optometrists who I thought were always trying to up-sell me but not so with Dr Ahmadi.
