Meet the Optometrist

Dr. Ahmadi graduated from University of California Irvine in 1991 with her B.S. in Biology. She continued her education at Southern California College of Optometry and graduated with her doctorate degree in Optometry in 1996. She received the College of Optometrists in Vision Development Award for her exceptional performance in Vision Therapy. While in school she had several externships where she gained valuable knowledge in fields of ocular disease and contact lens management. Some of her externships included the VA hospital in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.She gained experience working with different Optometrists and Ophthalmologists for over ten years. She accepted a position as a managing doctor at the busy San Juan Capistrano Costco between 2007 to 2012. On December on 2012 she moved to her new current location at the beautiful state of an art office in Mission Viejo.Dr. Ahmadi also provides exams in Spanish and Farsi. She also enjoys listening to her patients, so she can best address their needs. She enjoys Family Practice and working with children over the age of 4.Dr. Ahmadi has been married to Dr. Ramin Zabihi M.D. (Gastroenterologist) for the past 28 years. They live in Laguna Niguel with their three children. Dr. Ahmadi enjoys lots of different outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and skiing.
